Neena Gupta recently answered the questions regarding body shaming and marriage in a funny manner. In an interview given to CNN-News18, it was asked that when people asked why she was not married, what was her answer to this. On this Neena said, “I am not eating your father’s food, I am eating my father’s food. What is your problem, whether you got married or not?” In another question, when asked if someone says that you have become fatter than last time, what will she answer? On this Neena said, “I am pregnant.” Neena told that she used to get very upset with the comments regarding her weight. She said that recently she had worn a slightly thick saree. Because of the saree, a little bulk was visible on one part of the body. After this people started saying that Neena Gupta is pregnant at the age of 60. Neena told that I said, now if anyone asks, then say, “I am pregnant.” When she was told that a 74-year-old woman had recently given birth to twins, Neena laughed and said, “My chance is now.” Neena Gupta was trolled for her look. Last year, Neena Gupta faced trolling on social media after wearing shorts at the airport and sharing her video, to which she gave a befitting reply. Actually, in the video Neena was seen in black outfit and shorts. She had told on camera that she keeps home-cooked food with her during the long wait. For this, she packs things like potatoes, chilli, cheese and onion in roti rolls and tiffins. After which a user commented on the video and wrote, “Very good…but there is a request, do not show your feet. These are not in good tone. We have never seen grandmothers and mothers showing their feet like this. It is right to remain graceful with age.” While replying to the user’s comment, another user wrote, “This is such a shameful comment. Especially from a woman. You yourself are increasing the problems of women by body shaming.” After which Neena Gupta replied to this comment and said, “Don’t worry. People who say such things are actually jealous that they don’t have such a good body. So ignore them.” There have been many ups and downs in Neena Gupta’s personal life too. She married Amlan Ghosh, who was studying at IIT Delhi, during her college days. However, this marriage ended within a year with the mutual consent of both of them. After this, Neena Gupta also got engaged to Sharangdev Pandit, son of Pandit Jasraj. However, this relationship did not last long.
