Monsoon had left the country on October 15, but on Sunday, 90 percent of the country was covered with clouds and light to heavy rains. The impact of rain was more in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and South India.
The reason for this is that three weather systems are becoming active simultaneously in the country. The effect of these systems will be visible in 15 states including Madhya Pradesh in the next three to four days. There may be heavy rain along with cold strong winds here.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to active Western Disturbance, there will be rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal and Uttarakhand. Also, there is a possibility of second good snowfall after November 6.

At the same time, the deep depression formed in the southeast Bay of Bengal is gradually strengthening. It is likely to turn into a cyclone ‘Montha’ on Monday and a severe storm on Tuesday. Its center is currently 830 km east of Visakhapatnam.

Uttarakhand: Frozen Devtal lake in Chamoli. The temperature here is hovering at 1°C and below.
