Mother Dairy has reduced the price of its 1 liter toned tetra pack milk from Rs 77 to Rs 75. Apart from this, the prices of Ghee-Paneer and other items have also been reduced.

The government had announced GST reforms on September 3 and shared information about the tax cuts applicable to all the essential goods. The Finance Minister had said that from September 22, new rates of GST will be applicable and milk will become cheap from cheese to AC-TV. These new prices of milk and milk after cuts
Talking about the new price after the cut in the milk prices by the company, the price of 1 liter UHT milk (Tond-Treta Pack) of Mother Dairy has been reduced from Rs 77 to Rs 75, while the 450 ml pack will now get Rs 32 instead of Rs 33. Apart from this, the price of 180 mL pack of all the flavors of the company’s flavor has been reduced from Rs 30 to Rs 28.

Talking about the price of cheese, the packet of 200 grams of cheese will now get Rs 92 instead of Rs 95. Apart from this, a packet of 400 grams of cheese will now be instead of Rs 180. The prices of cream cheese have also been reduced and 200 grams of pack has come down from Rs 100 to Rs 97.

Ghee-Makkhan will now be available at this rate
After the cut in prices by Mother Dairy, now the butter and ghee of this company will also get cheaper. 500 grams of butter will get Rs 285 instead of Rs 305, while 100 grams of butter tikki will get Rs 58 instead of Rs 62. At the same time, the price of ghee prices has been reduced from Rs 675 to Rs 645, while the 500 ml pack has been reduced from Rs 345 to Rs 330. The price of tin pack of 1 liter ghee has been cut by Rs 30 per liter and it has come down from Rs 750 to Rs 720.

Icecream Price Cut

Ice cream also became cheap
Not only the prices of milk, cheese, butter and ghee have been cut, but Mother Dairy has also reduced the prices of ice cream. After the latest rate cut, the price of 45 grams of icecandy, 50 mL vanilla cup, 30 mL Chocobar declined from Rs 10 to Rs 9. At the same time, the price of Choco Vanilla and Butterscotch cones of 100 mL has been reduced from Rs 30 to Rs 25 and Rs 35 to Rs 30 respectively.

Apart from making milk-ghee-paneer cheaper, the prices of other products included in Mother Dairy’s portfolio have also been reduced. These include pickle, jam to successful peas. According to the new rate list, the 1 kg pouch of successful frozen peas is reduced from Rs 230 to Rs 215, while the packet of 400 grams has been reduced from Rs 100 to Rs 95.

If you look at the changes in pickle prices, according to the company, the price of 400 grams of pickle of pickle, including mango-lemon, has now been reduced from Rs 130 to Rs 120. Apart from this, 200 grams of tomato puree pack of Rs 25 instead of Rs 27, 200 mL pack of coconut water will be Rs 50 instead of Rs 55 and a pack of half kg of mixed frood jam will be Rs 165 instead of Rs 180.

Now only 2 slabs of GST
It is noteworthy that if we look at the announcement related to the GST reforms made by the government, then the number of tax slabs under it has been reduced to two. Actually, the slab of 12-28 percent has been abolished and 5-18% slab has been approved. Due to which all the goods are now being transferred to these two slabs. With this change, especially all the food items are going to be cheaper and its effect is also visible.

Tell us about the new GST slab for milk and frozen products, then UHT Milk (Tetra Pack), GST of 5% applied to cheese has been reduced to zero. Apart from this, ghee, butter, cheese, milkshakes are less than 12% in 5% slab, while ice cream has been removed from 18% to 5% tax slab. Apart from this, frozen snacks, jams, pickles, packaged coconut water and tomato puree have also been removed from 12 per cent tax slab to 5 per cent slab. These changes are going to be implemented from 22 September.
