Police sources say that Umar’s behavior had changed in recent months. From October 30, he left the duty of Al Falah University located in Faridabad and started traveling between Faridabad and Delhi. He often stayed in the mosques near Ramlila Maidan and Sunehri Masjid.
According to police, he had gone missing after a raid in Faridabad on November 9, following which around 2,900 kg of explosives were recovered from a warehouse and some of his associates were arrested.
