The film’s director Aditya Sarpotdar recently told that Rashmika worked continuously for 12 hours without any complaint during the shooting of the film.

Talking about working hours, Aditya Sarpotdar said, “Sometimes it is believed that everyone will work 24 hours, but this is not right physically and mentally. I believe that 12-hour shift during shooting is right and practical. Working more than this is wrong. Many times it also happens that people do not even get time to go home between the two schedules, which is not right at all.”

Aditya further said that people should also understand Deepika’s demand for 8-hour shift. He said, “As an actor, it is important to look good on camera. We should understand where this demand came from and why it is being made. Deepika has started this thing, so it is important that we understand the reason behind it, it is not right to make statements without thinking.”

Aditya Sarpotdar made his directorial debut in 2008 with the Marathi film Uladaal.

Director Aditya Sarpotdar also said, “If you are an actor and you feel that you can work for 12 hours with full energy, look good and give 100 percent, then why not? But if you feel that 8 hours is right for you and you cannot do more than that, then that is also fine. In the end, it is everyone’s personal choice.”

Giving an example, Aditya said, “When Paresh Rawal was associated with this film (Thama), his health was not well. There came a time when he said that he would not be able to do the film because the doctor had advised rest. Then we said, ‘Sir, we will complete your work in less time.’ It is our responsibility to take care of the artists.”
