America’s newly elected President Donald Trump has threatened Hamas. According to The Times of Israel, he has asked for the immediate release of the Israeli hostages. Trump said that if the hostages were not released by January 20, there would be serious consequences.

Trump’s statement came after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife Sara. Sara met Trump at the Trump International Golf Course in Florida on Sunday. Both of them also had dinner together. During this, Sara talked to Trump about the Gaza war and the release of hostages.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked Israel, in which 1208 Israeli civilians were killed. Hamas had taken 251 Israeli citizens hostage. Some of these hostages have died. 97 hostages are still with Hamas. According to the Israeli Army, 35 of these hostages have also died.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife Sara and son Yair had dinner with Trump in Florida on Sunday.

Trump will go to Paris this week

Trump is planning to visit Paris this weekend. There he will take part in the reopening ceremony of the Notre Dame Cathedral Church on December 7. This will be Trump’s first foreign trip after winning the presidential election.

The French government had invited Trump to attend the inauguration ceremony. According to CNN’s report, Trump’s team had been talking to French officials for several days regarding this trip.

Notre Dame Cathedral Church is in Paris, it was built about 850 years ago.

According to reports, Trump immediately agreed to go to France as soon as he received the invitation. Trump is very fond of Notre Dame Cathedral. When there was a fire here in April 2019, Trump had expressed grief over it. 50 heads of state are expected to attend the event.
