According to the Daily Mail, when the Republican Party was running for primaries earlier this year, Roth supported Vivek Ramaswami and Nikki Haley, who were contesting against Trump.

After Roth was arrested, his Facebook and X accounts were shut down. He had posted several posts against Trump on social media. Apart from this, he had supported the Democratic Party.

Roth was involved in a fund-raising program for Ukraine. He also visited Ukraine in the year 2022. He also shared things related to this on social media. He had said that he is ready to fight and die for Ukraine.

Roth gave an interview to the New York Times last year. He said that he had tried to recruit Afghan fighters who had fled from the Taliban in Ukraine. He spent several months there.

According to the New York Times, Roth’s social media revealed that he had voted for Trump in 2016. However, he later became disappointed with Trump. He had made several posts related to the Corona conspiracy. The newspaper has written that he was suffering from some mental illness.

Roth’s oldest son, Oran, told CNN that his father was a “loving, hardworking man. He doesn’t know what happened in Florida, but he’s sure the case has been blown out of proportion. They couldn’t do something this crazy.”
