Nida Khan, the company’s process associate accused in the sexual harassment case at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Nashik, Mumbai, is still absconding. Police have claimed that she was involved in forced conversion. After not getting interim protection on arrest from the Sessions Court, the police has said that the search for Nida Khan is going on.

She had applied to the Nashik Sessions Court for anticipatory bail citing her two-month pregnancy, but the court on Monday refused to grant her relief till April 27. Now the court will hear both the anticipatory bail petition and the interim relief petition on April 27.

So far 8 accused have been arrested in this case. The police officer said that most of the victims of the company are from middle class families. His age is between 21 to 30 years. She worked at the associate level and got a monthly salary of Rs 20,000.

The victim engineer said – molestation happened during Gudi Padwa. The victim female engineer has accused 5 accused of continuous sexual harassment, stalking and hurting religious sentiments between June 2025 and March 2026. She said that one of the accused made derogatory remarks on Hindu deities.

The female employee alleged that her team leader used to touch her inappropriately on the pretext of training. At the same time, another accused molested her during Gudi Padwa in the office pantry. The victim also said that objectionable comments were made regarding her married life.

Victim claims- Accused used to harass on social media also According to the victim, the harassment was not limited to the office only, but the accused were also stalking and harassing her on social media. She tried several times to block the accused, but the stalking did not stop, after which she had to seek legal help.

TCS has said on this matter that the company has long adopted a zero tolerance policy against any kind of harassment and pressure. Employees involved in allegations of sexual harassment in Nashik office have been suspended.

The company also said that in the initial investigation, it had not received any complaint from any female employee on its ethics or POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) channels. Also, the company has announced the formation of an oversight panel and involvement of external agencies for internal investigation.
