Veg thali price decreased due to tomatoes, potatoes and onions

Due to the fall in the price of chicken, the price of non-veg thali has decreased
This fall in the price of non-veg thali is due to the 11% reduction in the price of broilers i.e. chicken on an annual basis. Broilers account for 50% of the cost of a non-veg thali.
This is how the average cost of a thali is calculated
- Crisil has calculated the average cost of preparing a thali at home based on the current food prices in North, South, East and West India. Monthly changes affect the expenses of the common man.
- Crisil data also reveals the ingredients that drive the price of a thali, including cereals, pulses, broilers (chicken), vegetables, spices, edible oil and cooking gas.
- Veg thali includes roti, vegetables (onion, tomato and potato), rice, dal, curd and salad. Whereas for non-veg thali, chicken has been included instead of dal.
