Xi Jinping reached Bharat Mandapam and met PM Modi.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has reached India after 7 years. He met PM Modi. This is Jinping’s first visit to India after the Galwan clash. After attending the BRICS summit, he will hold a bilateral meeting with PM Modi this evening.
Before Jinping reached India, China issued a statement saying – We are ready to work with India by increasing dialogue and resolving mutual differences.
Jinping came to India on 11 October 2019. Galwan clash took place on 15 June 2020. After this, tension increased in India-China relations, but business did not stop.
India’s imports from China were around $65 billion in 2020-21, which will increase to more than $132 billion in 2025-26. That means, after the Galwan clash, imports from China have doubled.
Other big leaders of China came to India with Jinping
Cai Xi has also come to India along with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He is among the second biggest leaders of China’s power. He is part of the Communist Party of China’s top seven-member team (the Politburo Standing Committee) and works directly as Xi Jinping’s ‘Chief of Staff’, i.e. Director of the General Office of the Party.
His main responsibility is to control China’s entire administrative system, national security and the party’s propaganda machinery (propaganda and media). Apart from this, he is also responsible for the security of Xi Jinping, his daily work and strict implementation of the party’s ideology in the country.
Cai Xi is the head of the General Office of the Communist Party Central Committee. This is the office that handles the work of the biggest leaders of the party. Here meetings of big leaders, work related to important papers and information are seen.
Cai Xi is the fifth member of the Chinese Communist Party’s powerful Politburo Standing Committee and the first-ranking member of the Party Secretariat.
That is, from knowing when the big leaders will meet, which meeting will be held and preparing the necessary documents related to it, many other tasks are done through this office.
Cai Xi is the head of this office. That is, their work is directly related to the day-to-day work of Xi Jinping and other big party leaders. For this reason he is called Xi Jinping’s ‘de facto chief of staff’.
Before the BRICS Summit in Goa, on October 15, 2016, Chinese President Jinping, Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Putin were seen in Indian-style clothes.
Jinping’s 18 feet long Hongqi N701 car
Jinping departed from Palam Airport in his special Hongqi N701. This special state limousine, about 18 feet i.e. 5.5 meters long, has been prepared for Jinping.
Jinping came to India in 2019
Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping at ‘Krishna’s Butter Ball’ in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu on October 11, 2019. This was Jinping’s last visit to India.
In 2019, Chinese President Xi Jinping was welcomed by PM Modi in the historic coastal town of Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram) in Tamil Nadu. The two leaders held informal talks on bilateral relations while visiting ancient monuments like Panch Rath and Shore Temple.
During this, it was agreed to establish a high-level mechanism between the two countries to reduce trade deficit, increase mutual trust and maintain peace on the border.
