Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, shared information about Abhijot’s death on social media. He wrote in the emotional message – “Abhijot, you will miss you very much. Good luck angels… don’t worry, I will take care of your parents.”

Abhijot’s disease was very serious. According to doctors, both his kidneys had deteriorated and by regular treatment, he could lead a normal life by the age of 18. Every two months for treatment, he had to go from Amritsar to PGIMER Hospital in Chandigarh. Every time the journey and medicines used to cost about 45 thousand rupees. This amount was heavy for his family, as his farming was completely destroyed in the floods and the income of the house was stopped.
His father Jasbir Singh had told that due to the flood, he could not even bring medicines to the other side of the village. The villagers had to swim several times and collect necessary goods. Under such adverse circumstances, it was almost impossible to treat Abhijot.

After going viral on social media, actor Sonu Sood and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann both came forward. He promised the financial assistance of the family. Sonu Sood himself went to Punjab and met Abhijot and his parents.
At that time there was a ray of hope in the entire village that now Abhijot will be treated properly and he would be able to live a normal life slowly. After that he was rescued by the Punjab government and was undergoing treatment with the help of PGI doctors. The Punjab government was getting all his treatment.
CM Bhagwant Mann had said that his team is treating Abhijot and he was also given a check of Rs 50,000. But despite all efforts, medicines and expectations, luck did not support this innocent. Abhijot passed away and he caused his family, village and the whole of Punjab to suffer forever.
