A very painful incident has come to light on Tuesday from Ramgarh district of Jharkhand, where making a video of wild elephants proved costly for a young man. At around 4 pm in the Ara Sarubeda area of Ghaton OP area, a wild elephant crushed a young man to death. This entire incident was also captured in the mobile cameras of the people present there.
According to the information, a herd of more than two dozen wild elephants has been roaming in this area for the last few days. People from nearby villages were coming close to the herd out of curiosity to see the presence of elephants. Many youths were making videos, photos and reels from mobile. On Tuesday, some youths also went near a herd of elephants in Sarubeda.
Wild elephant crushes young man
Meanwhile, a wild elephant suddenly got angry and ran towards the youth in anger. Seeing the elephant coming towards them, everyone started running to save their lives, but a young man could not run away and got hit by the elephant. The elephant caught hold of the young man with its trunk and threw him and crushed him with its feet. The young man died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Amit Rajwar. His age is said to be around 35 years. Amit was a resident of West Bokaro OP area. After the incident, there was chaos in the area and a large number of people gathered at the spot.
In this case, Ranger Bateshwar Paswan has confirmed the incident. He said that the Quick Response Team has been immediately sent to the spot and efforts are being made to drive the elephants safely towards the forest.
Forest Department made this appeal to the people
Let us tell you, two days before the incident, the Forest Department team had issued an announcement warning people not to go near wild elephants. Despite this, people were ignoring the danger. The Forest Department has once again appealed to the people to maintain distance from wild elephants and not put their lives at risk.
