China will provide J-series fighter jets worth about Rs 22 thousand crore to Bangladesh next year. Pakistan Air Force will provide training to fly these planes.
For this, Pakistani trainers can train pilots at Jessore Airbase in Bangladesh, about 40 kilometers from the Indian border.
Pakistan Air Force is flying J-series fighter jets made in China from 2022. After China, Pakistan has the largest fleet of these aircraft. For this reason, he also has the most experience in flying these planes.

Pakistan will run joint exchange program in Dhaka
There will also be a meeting of Air Force officers of China, Pakistan and Bangladesh in Dhaka in December. Under the joint exchange program to be held in Dhaka, Pakistani Air Force will provide training to Bangladeshi pilots.
Apart from this, training will also be given to the controllers who identify and monitor enemy aircraft through radar. Separate courses will also be run for ground crew.
A team of five members led by Pakistan’s Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed has reached Dhaka. This team took stock of the airbase and other important facilities there. Also prepared a plan for technical training and transaction of simulator.

Bangladesh’s radar can help China
Its technical teams and data link systems also work with China’s Air Force. In such a situation, there is a fear that if the tension between India and China on LAC increases in future, the information received from Bangladesh’s radar may reach China’s military network.
China’s military uses Tactical Data Link (TDL) technology. Through this, the fighter jets and the military command on the ground remain connected to each other. They can share radar images and information about enemy locations among themselves.
According to defense analysts, China has also prepared a high-bandwidth broadband link named XS-3. It is used to connect fighter planes, bomber planes and drones to a network. Analysts believe that after Pakistan, now Bangladesh can also use this Chinese technology.
Danger may increase on Siliguri corridor
A major concern for India related to this military cooperation is the Siliguri Corridor. It is about 20 to 22 km wide strip, which connects the north-eastern states with the rest of the country. There is already pressure from China on this area.
With the deployment of long range attack fighter jets at airbases like Lalmonirhat or Kurmitola in Bangladesh, this entire area can come within their reach.

Concern about extremist organizations in the North-East
Many militant organizations are active in the northeastern states of India. In the past too, incidents of weapons and other communication equipment reaching these organizations through Bangladesh have come to light.
In such a situation, the increasing military presence of China and Pakistan in Bangladesh can become a new security challenge for India.
