‘The Super Mario Galaxy’ has won the box office race of 2026 in Hollywood. This new film of the Mario franchise has taken the title of the highest-grossing film of the year with a worldwide earning of $ 629 million (about Rs 5,200 crore) and now it is rapidly moving towards the 1 billion dollar club. The film gained tremendous momentum in the second weekend of its release. It earned $69 million (about Rs 570 crore) from 4,284 theaters in the US and Canada, taking its domestic collection to $308.1 million (about Rs 2,550 crore). In the international market too, the film has strengthened its global hold by collecting 83.5 million dollars (about Rs 690 crore) from 81 countries. However, the previous film of the franchise ‘The Super Mario Bros’ had earned domestic earnings of around Rs 2,930 crore by the second weekend. Ultimately the figure of Rs 10,800 crore was crossed.
