518 kg drugs have been seized from the godown of Avkar Drugs Limited Company.
518 kg of cocaine was seized on Sunday night from the godown of Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. In this joint operation of Delhi and Gujarat Police, 5 people have also been arrested from the spot.
Delhi Police said that this cocaine is linked to the same international drugs syndicate, two big consignments of which were seized from Delhi during raids on October 2 and October 10.
Police said that till now a total of 1289 kg of drugs have been seized from this syndicate. Its price in the international market is Rs 13 thousand crores. At the same time, a total of 12 people associated with the syndicate have been arrested so far, out of which 7 were detained during the last 2 raids in Delhi.
The mastermind of this syndicate operating from Dubai has been identified as Virender Basoya. He has many businesses in Dubai. Police have issued a lookout circular against Basoya. According to PTI sources, such a large quantity of cocaine has never been seized in the entire country. These 3 raids in the last 12 days are the biggest operation so far.
