Former US President Donald Trump was attacked on July 13. There is a threat of another attack on him. On Tuesday, police arrested a 21-year-old man with an AK-47 outside his Republican Party’s convention in Milwaukee, USA.
Shortly after this, 43-year-old Samuel Sharp was seen with knives in both hands. He also attacked a person. After this, the police immediately opened fire on him, in which Samuel died.
After these two incidents, the US police is on alert. Both these incidents took place outside the convention venue, where Trump was officially declared the presidential candidate on Monday.

The attacker was a supporter of Trump’s party
In fact, Trump was attacked while addressing a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. During this, a bullet grazed Trump’s ear. The attacker was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks.
He fired 8 bullets from an AR-15 rifle. Immediately after the firing, the attacker was shot dead by Secret Service officers. He was a supporter of the Republican Party.
The plot to kill Trump was being hatched from Iran
The investigation into the attack on Trump has revealed that US officials had received information from Iran several weeks ago about a plot to kill Trump. According to American media CNN, the Secret Service had increased Trump’s security as soon as the intelligence was received. However, there is no information whether Thomas, who attacked Trump, was a part of this conspiracy or not.
The US Secret Service has claimed that after receiving information about the plot to attack Trump, they had also warned the Republican Party about holding continuous rallies and election campaigns in different states.
Even after intelligence, secret service could not provide security
Those running Trump’s election campaign have refused to talk on this matter. They have said that they cannot discuss Trump’s security details or his election planning. America’s Secret Service has come under fire since the talk of an attack plot from Iran came to light.
Questions are being raised in media reports that how Trump’s security lapses happened even when there was already a fear of attack. Earlier on Tuesday, CNN had claimed in its report that the snipers of the service unit were deployed on the second floor of the building from whose roof the attacker attacked Trump.
Attacked with a gun registered in father’s name
Pennsylvania police records show that the AR-15 assault rifle used by attacker Crooks to attack Trump was purchased in his father’s name. More than 20 guns are registered in his name, which were present at home.
CNN tried to speak to Thomas’ father on Sunday and Monday, however he refused to answer questions. Currently, Thomas’s parents are helping in the investigation. They told the agencies that Thomas had no friends and neither was he inclined towards any party.
Even after examining Thomas’s phone, computer, search history and bedroom, his motive could not be ascertained. His family and friends have also been questioned in this regard, but the agents have not been able to get any evidence. His online activities revealed that he was interested in computer coding and gaming.
