According to the Israel Defense Force (IDF), they had attacked a school in Gaza a few days ago. Hamas had a command center here. 22 people were killed in this attack. In such a situation, it is feared that Sinwar also died in this airstrike.

These included political chief Ismail Haniyeh, military chief Mohammad Daif and Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar. After Haniyeh’s death in Iran on 31 July, Sinwar became the new chief of the organization.

Hamas’ military chief Mohammad Daif was killed in an airstrike on July 13, which was confirmed on August 1. In such a situation, now only Sinwar is left in the top leadership of Hamas. Therefore, Israel’s entire focus is currently on finding Sinwar and killing him.

Around this time, Yahya won the trust of Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Two years after Hamas was founded in 1987, Yahya founded its notoriously dangerous internal security organization, al-Majd. Sinwar was 25 years old at the time.
