On the special occasion of Shahrukh Khan’s birthday, the song Tu Mil Jaye from his upcoming film King was released on 2 November. In a part of this song, Deepika Padukone was seen dancing wearing an orange dress, on which after BJP MLA Ravinder Singh Negi, now the Mahant of Ayodhya has raised objection. He says that obscene dance in saffron color will not be tolerated. There is a conspiracy to defame saffron – Ayodhya’s Mahant While talking to news agency ANI, Ayodhya’s Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj said, ‘Actress Deepika Padukone will dance disco wearing saffron clothes in the song of Shahrukh Khan’s film King, this can never be tolerated. I would tell Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone that if you have to do the same things, then wear green clothes. Dance in green clothes, you will like it. Saffron is a symbol of bravery. It is a symbol of sacrifice, a symbol of God. It is a symbol of sacrifice, dedication and devotion. Is there a conspiracy going on to defame saffron? I support the Bharatiya Janata Party MLA who raised his voice on this. Sanatani strongly opposes this. One who insults saffron will not remain alive – Acharya Guru Jagatguru Paramahamsa, Acharya Guru says on this, ‘This is definitely very objectionable. Just as the national flag of India is a tricolor, similarly the color of Indian culture is saffron. Insulting saffron is an insult to Indian culture. Therefore, the obscene scene of wearing saffron in the film should be cut. If this does not happen then it will not be tolerated. The scene should be removed and action should be taken against these people. Any actor who insults saffron to earn money will be goodbye to this world. This is the last warning. Whoever insults saffron will not survive. If the scene is not removed, they will come on the streets – Mahant One Mahant said, ‘Look, I want to ask only one question to the actors of the film that they are shown very good for mosques and Islam. But when it comes to Sanatan, sometimes it is an insult to Bhagwa and sometimes it is an insult to Sanatan. There was a Pathan movie starring Shahrukh Khan in which obscenity was shown by wearing saffron clothes. We saints had protested. Today, the way the scene of wearing saffron is shown in the movie King, it is very sad. Always do something that hurts the faith of Sanatan. He further said, ‘We are with whatever the Delhi MLA has said. If this scene is not removed, then we sadhus of Ayodhya will go and protest against it, will come on the streets. Because India is identified with culture and Sanatan. Controversy started after the statement of BJP MLA. Actually, first of all BJP MLA from Patparganj of Delhi objected to the orange clothes worn by Deepika Padukone in the song of the film King. While demanding a ban on the film, he said that saffron color is a symbol of Sanatan. Same thing happened three years ago also, when Deepika wore a saffron colored bikini. That was also Shahrukh’s film. The film today is also Shahrukh’s. The BJP MLA raised the question as to why no color other than saffron was used. He said, ‘You make fun of Sanatan. This is Shahrukh’s Jihadi mentality. Shahrukh Khan should be ashamed. You eat this country, showcase your films from this country and then insult the faith of Hindus. Hindu will not tolerate this insult. We will not allow this film to be released until this scene is removed. The song got 63 million views in 5 days.
