A young man from Karnal in California, America died in a road accident. The young man was a truck driver. During the accident, his truck went out of control and fell into a ditch. As soon as the news of the incident reached the family, there was mourning in the house. The family is now seeking help from the government to bring the body back to India and funds are also being raised for this. Gaurav Kumar, resident of village Balragdan, went to America about 2 years ago to improve the financial condition of his family. To send him abroad, his father Ramphal even sold his land and also took a loan. The family spent around Rs 50 lakh. Gaurav reached America through the donkey route in several months. Started driving truck again after changing job. After reaching America, Gaurav initially drove truck for about six months. Later he started working at a store, but due to low income there, he decided to drive a truck again. The family hoped that this would improve the financial condition of the house. Had called home for the last time on 26th May. According to the information, on 26th May, Gaurav had gone out with a truck. On the way, he stopped at a restaurant to have tea and called home to inform that he was driving a truck and would call again after some time. This call proved to be the last call of his life. The truck lost its balance, died after falling into the ditch. After leaving the restaurant, he had walked a short distance when suddenly the truck lost its balance and fell into the ditch. In this accident he died on the spot. On May 27, around 2.30 pm, the family received a call in which the police informed them about the accident and death. He was the only son, a mountain of sorrow fell on the family. Gaurav Kumar was the only son of his parents. He has a sister, who is married. Father Ramphal told that Gaurav used to call home every morning around 8 o’clock and talk to all the family members, but the call of May 26 proved to be the last. The family is raising funds to bring the body to India. Gaurav’s mortal remains are still in America. The family wants to bring him to India and perform his last rites, so that he can inherit the land of his village. For this, online funds are being raised and financial help has also been requested from the government.
