Recently, comedian Kapil Sharma was threatened with death through mail and ransom of Rs 1 crore. The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested the threatening person from 24 Parganas in West Bengal. The arrested man has been identified as Dilip Chaudhary. According to the police, Dilip Chaudhary was demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore by sending a mail to Kapil Sharma, calling himself a member of gangster Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara gang.
The police produced him in the Asplayed Court, from where he has been sent to police custody till September 30. The Mumbai Police is currently questioning the accused. Also, an attempt is being made to find out whether the accused actually has any connection with Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara gang.
