During the press briefing of the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday, there was mention of reports in which China had admitted that it had provided technical help to Pakistan during the May 2025 military conflict. According to the report of South China Morning Post, in an interview broadcast on Chinese state media CCTV, engineer Zhang Heng of Chengdu Aircraft Design and Research Institute said that his team was providing technical assistance in Pakistan.
He told that his job was to keep the fighter planes and their associated systems completely ready for war. According to the report, Pakistan Air Force uses J-10CE fighter aircraft made in China. This aircraft is manufactured by a subsidiary of AVIC.
Indian Army’s Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Rahul Singh had claimed in July 2025 that China had provided significant assistance to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
Pakistan had fired 900 drones from Gujarat to Kashmir.

In a press conference in Jaipur on Thursday, the Army said, during Operation Sindoor, more than 100 soldiers of Pakistan and more than 100 terrorists have died in the terrorist camp.
