Popular Oriya singer Humane Sagar passed away on 17 November. Singer was only 34 years old. The cause of his death is said to be multiple organ dysfunction.
Humane Sagar was admitted to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in Bhubaneswar at around 1 pm on November 14 after his health suddenly deteriorated. Investigation revealed that many organs of his body were not functioning. He was suffering from acute on chronic liver failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, bilateral pneumonia. After two days of treatment, Singer died at 9:08 pm on 17 November.

After the news of Humane Sagar’s demise came to light, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has paid an emotional tribute to the singer. He wrote on the official

Deeply saddened to know that Humane Sagar is no more in this world. His soulful voice has touched the hearts of countless listeners, and his contributions to Odia music will always be remembered. I pray for the peace of his immortal soul and express my condolences to his bereaved family in this difficult time.


Singer’s mother accused the manager
After the demise of singer Humane Sagar, his mother has blamed his manager for his deteriorating condition. According to the singer’s mother Shefali, the singer’s condition was bad for some time, yet his manager and event organizers were constantly pressurizing him to perform. He was asked to perform despite his deteriorating condition.
Singer Humane Sagar married Shreya Mishra in the year 2017. The couple has a daughter from this marriage.
