ईरान के 7 शहरों में विस्फोट, 5 लोगों की मौत: 14 घायल, इजराइल बोला- धमाके में हमारा कोई रोल नहीं

There are reports of explosions in at least 7 cities of Iran. According to different media reports, claims of explosions have been made in the capital Tehran, Parand, Tabriz, Qom, Ahwaz, Nantaj and Bandar Abbas on Saturday.

According to Turkish news agency Anadolu, at least 5 people have died and 14 are injured. This has not been confirmed by the Government of Iran. However, two Israeli officials have told the media that Israel is not involved in these explosions.

At the same time, news agency Tasnim has termed as false the news circulating on social media in which it was being said that the Naval Commander of the Revolutionary Guard was targeted.

Smoke was visible after the explosion in Iran’s capital Tehran. The picture is viral on social media.

Part of building blown away by explosion in Ahwaz

According to the state newspaper Tehran Times, there was a gas explosion in a residential building in Ahvaz, killing four people. There was an explosion in a building in Bandar Abbas, due to which two of its floors collapsed and many shops were also destroyed. A total of 14 people were injured in this blast.

Pictures shown on state TV showed that the front part of the building was completely blown away, the inside was clearly visible and debris was scattered around.

Bandar Abbas Rescue Department official told Iranian news agency IRNA that the people injured in this incident are being taken to the hospital with the help of emergency services.

Protests against the government continue in Iran for 35 days

This explosion has happened at a time when the situation in Iran is tense. Nationwide demonstrations against the government started on December 28, which are still continuing.

An Iranian official told Reuters that at least 5,000 people were killed in the protests, including 500 members of the security forces. On the other hand, America has recently deployed an aircraft carrier in the region amid increasing tension.
