What goes wrong in the AC system, due to which it explodes…

1. Compressor overheating

The outdoor unit of AC works in hot air. Continuous operation can cause the compressor to overheat and due to increased pressure, there is a risk of it failing or bursting.

2. Refrigerant gas leakage

AC contains refrigerant gas like R-22 or R-410A. Gas can escape if there is leakage in the pipe or valve. This may increase the risk of fire or other damage.

3. Short circuit and bad wiring

Poor wiring, loose connections or overloaded sockets can cause a short circuit. In summer, the electricity load also increases due to running of many high-power appliances simultaneously.

4. Lack of timely maintenance

If the AC is not serviced, dust accumulates in the filter, which reduces airflow. This may increase the pressure on the fan and motor and lead to the risk of overheating. If such a situation persists for a long time, other parts of the AC may also be affected.
