US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that an American soldier was killed while destroying an unexploded Iranian drone in northern Iraq. With this, the number of American soldiers killed in the war has increased to 17. According to CENTCOM, the soldier was involved in an operation to safely disable the drone. After the incident, America has tightened security measures in the area. On the other hand, Britain’s United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said that a fire has been reported in an oil tanker about 8 nautical miles north-west of Qumjar coast of Oman.
