After not getting any clue the family reached Bhanwarkuan police station. Daughter reported missing. Police started searching. On Monday afternoon, a call was received from Karhi police station of Khargone in Bhanwarkuan police station that a dead body of a girl was found. It was said that Nikki’s identity card was found with him.
Bhanwarkuan police reached Khargone with the family, who recognized him. Police are initially suspecting suicide. However, the cause of death can be clearly revealed only after the post-mortem report and investigation.
Called mother that she would reach home in some time.
Nikki’s father Ramanand Yadav is an accountant. She said- On Sunday, younger son Shivam had gone to drop her to the examination centre. After the exam was over, Nikki called her mother from another student’s mobile. Said that her mobile was switched off and she would reach home in some time.
After this the family could not contact him. The family waited for him till around 10 pm. After a lot of searching, they reached Lasudia police station.
Nikki’s body was found in the Narmada river of Khargone.
Reached the police station at night itself, police did not provide any help
Nikki’s family alleges that they had reached the police station on Sunday night itself. Despite waiting for about an hour, no help was received from the police. After this he informed the police control room. When no concrete action was taken, he again reached Bhanwarkuan police station on Monday morning and lodged a missing report.
Wanted to become a doctor, had given NEET twice
Ramanand Yadav told that Nikki had given the NEET exam twice before, but was not successful. She wanted to become a doctor and was continuously working hard for it. Her two elder sisters in the family are software engineers. One brother is an engineer and the younger brother is in school.
The family says that they have no information about the circumstances under which Nikki reached Barwah.

According to the police, the last location of Nikki’s mobile was found in Barwah area. At present, the movement, mobile phone and other circumstances of the student after the examination are being investigated.
