India Women defeated Sri Lanka by making its highest T20 score on Sunday. The team won the fourth match by 30 runs. Sri Lanka chose bowling at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. India scored 221 runs, Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana made an opening partnership of 162 runs.

In front of a big target, Sri Lankan captain Chamari Atapattu scored a fifty, but the team could score only 191 runs. This was also Sri Lanka’s best score in T-20. In bowling for India, Vaishnavi Sharma and Arundhati Reddy took 2-2 wickets. By winning the fourth match, India also took an unassailable 4-0 lead in the series.
