The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ has come into controversy as soon as it was released. On social media, the film is being accused of promoting fraud in marriage and showing it in a funny way. However, now Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh have responded to these allegations during the trailer launch event. The actor claims that his character in the film is ‘Green Flag’ and it does not promote any kind of infidelity or cheating. Some people were raising questions on the allegation of promoting cheating in marriage ever since the teaser of the film came out. Critics say that showing a married man having an affair with other women in the film can give a wrong message to the society. It is alleged that such stories may inspire people to cheat on their partners in marriage. It was being described as a film glorifying ‘cheating’. Ayushmann said – My moral compass is correct. Rejecting these allegations, Ayushmann Khurrana gave his clarification at the trailer launch. She said, “This film is about the complications of four characters. My role i.e. Prajapati Pandey is completely a ‘green flag’ character. His moral compass is absolutely right. We are not promoting any kind of fraud because it is a clean family film. It is just a comedy of errors, in which Prajapati has no affair with anyone. Rakul said – This is just a comedy, actress Rakul. Preet Singh also said, this film is based on misunderstandings. People will definitely relate to it. Rakul believes that there is nothing that will hurt anyone’s sentiments in the teaser. This time the level of confusion is very high in the film, where Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh are playing the role of a policeman. This film will be released in theaters on May 15.
