‘अस्पताल के अंदर 200 पुलिसवाले थे’: गोविंदा को गोली लगने की घटना के बाद की स्थिति भांजी रागिनी खन्ना ने बताई

Ragini is the daughter of Govinda’s sister Kamini Khanna. Actor Krishna Abhishek and actress Aarti Singh are his cousins.

In the year 2024, actor Govinda accidentally shot himself. He was taken to the hospital immediately after the incident. After which his surgery was done. Recently, Govinda’s niece and actress Ragini Khanna has spoken about this incident.

While talking to journalist Vicky Lalwani, Ragini told that she got the information about Govinda being shot from her mother.

Ragini said, “My mother told me that she had received a call saying that Chichi Mama had been shot. At that time we all were very shocked. After this my mother told that he (Govinda) had shot himself.”

The actress further told that after getting information about the incident, her mother immediately left for the hospital. However, Ragini was in shock at that time, so she reached the hospital a little late. She said she reached the hospital after about three hours, while her mother and brother reached there immediately.

Ragini got recognition from the character of ‘Suhana’ in the TV show ‘Sasural Genda Phool’. He has also worked in serials like ‘Bhaskar Bharti’.

When asked in the interview why many people did not believe that the bullet was fired accidentally, Ragini said that around 200 policemen were deployed inside the hospital. Apart from this, about 50 policemen were also present outside Govinda’s house, so that the entire matter could be investigated.

Ragini said that she has full faith in the police. He told that if someone else was involved in this incident, it would not have been possible without the truth coming out.

Govinda shot incident

The incident of Govinda being shot took place on October 1, 2024 at around 4:45 am at his Juhu home in Mumbai. The actor was keeping his licensed .32 bore revolver in the cupboard after cleaning it. During this time the revolver fell from his hand and misfired. The bullet hit his left leg below the knee.

After this he was immediately admitted to Criticare Asia Hospital in Andheri West. His condition remained stable after surgery. Three days later, on 4 October, he was discharged from the hospital.
