The entire Kapoor family attended the function. The entire Kapoor family was seen together during the mehendi ceremony of Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar. This family reunion was attended by close friends and relatives of the bride and groom. Anshula’s father Boney Kapoor and brother Arjun Kapoor were seen welcoming the guests at the function. Apart from them, Sonam Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan also became a part of the celebration. There was a lot of music and dancing in the program. Anshula Kapoor chose a special Gujarati Patola lehenga for her mehendi. For her mehendi ceremony, Anshula Kapoor wore a customized teal blue colored lehenga designed by fashion designer Arpita Mehta. The design of this lehenga is inspired by the traditional Patola print of Gujarat. The skirt has mirror work with intricate patola motifs. There is antique gold embroidery on the border of the lehenga. She paired it with a matching dupatta, which has geometric patterns, mirror work and tassels. The blouse has white polka-dot detailing and heavy embroidery on the neck. To make her bridal look different, Anshula left the traditional Polki jewelery and chose turquoise jewelery from ‘Amrapali Jewels’. She wore a heavy turquoise necklace with pearls and matching drop earrings and rings. Her makeup was kept absolutely natural and fresh, which included nude pink lipstick. The hair was left half open giving it a soft waves look, with a dark pink floral gajra placed at the back. This gajra looked different with her blue lehenga. The function started with Mata ki Chowki. Before the Mehndi ceremony, a traditional Mata ki Chowki was organized at Anshula’s house. In this function, Anshula wore a heavy beige-gold colored lehenga with a bright Phulkari dupatta, showing Punjabi workmanship. She paired it with classic Kundan jewellery, which included a necklace, earrings and maang tikka. For Mata ki Chowki, she had tied her hair in a bun and opted for satin finish makeup.
