Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora’s son Arhaan Khan is soon going to debut in Bollywood as a hero. Salman Khan will be seen doing a cameo in his nephew’s film. Obviously, Arhaan’s debut can get a big support due to Salman’s presence in the film.

However, this is not the first time that Salman Khan has worked in films to support the career of one of his family members. Be it Sohail Khan’s directorial debut film or his comeback in direction, Salman supported his brother on both the occasions and took charge by playing lead roles in his films. At the same time, when Arbaaz Khan’s films as a lead actor were continuously flopping, Salman gave him work in his films and later also supported him in the second innings of production and direction.

Not only this, Salman also launched his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s husband Ayush Sharma and sister Alvira Agnihotri’s daughter Alizeh Agnihotri through his production house.

Before Arhaan Khan’s Bollywood debut, know when Salman Khan supported the career of his family members-

Salman became a part of Sohail Khan’s directorial debut

Sohail Khan started his career as a director in the year 1997 with the film ‘Auzaar’. Salman Khan played the lead role in the film. Made with a budget of around Rs 5 crore, this film had collected around Rs 10 crore. However, the film did not achieve major success at the box office.

After this, Sohail Khan directed ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ in the year 1998. Salman Khan was seen in the lead role in this film also. Along with writing the story of the film, Sohail also produced it. The film was a huge hit at the box office.

Salman was also in the lead role in Sohail’s next directorial film ‘Hello Brother’. Arbaaz Khan was also seen in an important role in this film.

Also supported Sohail’s directorial comeback

He took the responsibility of direction, production and acting in Sohail Khan’s film ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’ released in 2002. The film flopped at the box office. After this Sohail distanced himself from direction.

After about 12 years, Sohail Khan made a comeback as a director in the year 2014 with the film ‘Jai Ho’. In this film too, Salman Khan supported his brother’s directorial comeback by playing the lead role.

Sohail becomes producer in Salman’s films

Sohail Khan also worked as a producer during his break from direction. He was associated with many of Salman Khan’s films as a producer. These include films like ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’, ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya?’, ‘Partner’, ‘God Tussi Great Ho’, ‘Main Aur Mrs. Khanna’ and ‘Ready’. In this way, Sohail’s production career continued through Salman’s films.

Sohail got Salman’s support in reality show also

Salman Khan has been associated with Banije Production House’s popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ for a long time. When the same production house started the OTT game reality show ‘The Alliance’, thanks to Salman, Sohail joined the show.

Sohail’s journey may not have been special during the show, but during Family Week, Salman Khan reached the show in his support. Salman encouraged Sohail like any other contestant. Due to his presence, Sohail’s Journey also got discussion and the show remained in the headlines.

After Arbaaz Khan’s acting career, he also helped in production and direction.

Arbaaz Khan made his acting debut in the year 1996 with the film ‘Daraar’. The film was successful, but Arbaaz could not get the recognition as a hero that was expected.

After this, Arbaaz worked in Salman Khan’s films ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ and ‘Hello Brother’. Both the films were included in the popular films of Salman’s career.

Arbaaz also did a cameo in Salman’s film ‘Tumko Bhula Na Payenge’. Apart from this he also appeared in ‘Proud’ and ‘Why Did I Love?’ Also seen in Salman’s films.

When Arbaaz’s films as a lead actor started flopping, he moved beyond acting and entered production. In the year 2010, he started his second innings as a producer with Salman Khan’s film ‘Dabangg’ and started Arbaaz Khan Productions.

Arbaaz also played the role of Makkhi in ‘Dabangg’. The film was a blockbuster. After this, Arbaaz also worked as a producer along with acting in ‘Dabangg 2’.

Arbaaz got a chance to replace the director of ‘Dabangg’

After director Abhinav Kashyap parted ways from the film during the shooting of ‘Dabangg’, Arbaaz Khan took over the responsibility of direction of the film. After this he directed ‘Dabangg 2’, which was successful at the box office.

Rakhi also supported sister Shweta Rohira’s husband Pulkit Samrat

Salman Khan’s Rakhi sister Shweta Rohira married actor Pulkit Samrat in 2014. Pulkit made his Bollywood debut in the year 2012 with the film ‘Bittu Boss’.

Salman also supported Pulkit’s career due to his relationship with Shweta. He took part in the promotion of Pulkit’s film Bittu Boss. Apart from this, Pulkit also got an important role in ‘Jai Ho’ released in 2014.

However, later Pulkit and Shweta’s relationship did not last long and they both got divorced in 2015. After this Pulkit’s name was linked with Yami Gautam. Later he married actress Kriti Kharbanda.

Launched niece Alizeh Agnihotri, produced the film herself

Salman Khan launched his niece Alizeh Agnihotri in Bollywood with the film ‘Farre’, released in the year 2023. Alizeh is the daughter of Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and filmmaker Atul Agnihotri.

Salman Khan produced the film Farre under the banner of his production house Salman Khan Films. However, the film did not perform well at the box office.

Alizeh’s mother Alvira Agnihotri has also been associated with the production. She has been the producer of Salman’s films ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Bharat’. Apart from this, he also started working as a costume designer with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. She was also associated as a costume designer in films like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Tiger’ and ‘Sultan’.

Sister Arpita’s husband Ayush Sharma launched in Bollywood

In the year 2018, Salman Khan launched his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s husband Ayush Sharma in Bollywood with the film ‘Loveyatri’. The film was produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films.

Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan also did cameos in the film. After this, Ayush Sharma was seen in the lead role with Salman Khan in the 2021 film ‘Antim: The Final Truth’.

However, both the films ‘Loveyatri’ and ‘Antim’ could not perform as expected at the box office.

Now Salman Khan’s nephew Arhaan Khan is going to debut as a hero in Bollywood. If Salman has a cameo in the film, it will once again show how Salman has been a constant support system in the careers of the Khan family members.
