Trump meets Jailonsky and European leaders

Trump met Ukraine President Volodimir Jailnsky at the White House late on Monday night (Indian time). Trump described this conversation as successful. Jailonsky said that this was his best conversation ever.

However, during this time the ceasefire between Russia-Ukraine did not agree. Trump said that the ceasefire is not possible at the moment.

Ukraine’s security guarantee was discussed in the meeting. Trump said that America and European countries will work together.

Trump stopped the meeting and talked to Putin on the phone for 40 minutes. During this time Putin supported direct conversation between representatives of Russia and Ukraine. This conversation will take place within the next 15 days.

After the meeting, Jailonsky held a press conference and told that Ukraine would buy US weapons worth $ 90 billion (about 8 lakh crore rupees) from Europe’s money in exchange for security guarantee.

Last week, Trump and Putin held a meeting for 3 hours

Putin and Trump met in Alaska late on August 15 last week. They had a meeting for about 3 hours on ending the Ukraine battle. After this, the two leaders held only 12 minutes of joint press conference. During this time he did not answer any questions of journalists.

During the press conference, Trump described the meeting as positive. He said that many points agreed, but no deal was made. There will be an agreement only when it takes the final form.

Trump gave 10 out of 10 marks to this meeting. At the same time, Putin suggested to hold the next meeting in Moscow. After speaking of his point, the two leaders immediately left the stage.

Putin not ready to leave 20% of Ukraine

Russia has occupied about 20% of Ukraine, ie about 1 lakh 14 thousand 500 square kilometers. It includes areas such as Crimea, Donnetsk, Luhansk, Kherrason, and Japorizia. Russia considers these areas its strategic and historical heritage and is not ready to leave them.

On the other hand, Jailonsky says that even an inch of Ukraine will not give it to Russia. They believe that if Ukraine now retreats, it can weaken the sovereignty and security of the country. Also, Russia can get a chance to attack more in future.

Jelonski is demanding a ceasefire unconditionally. He says that Russia will not be allowed to divide the second part of Ukraine under any circumstances.
