Russian MP Alexey Zhuravlyov has said that this case should be treated as piracy and Russia should take military action. He also warned against the use of nuclear weapons.

Russia said- America broke international law

Russia has expressed strong protest against this action. Russia’s Transport Ministry said American troops stopped the ship in the open sea, where no country has jurisdiction. Russia says this is a violation of international maritime law. At the same time, China has also opposed this action of America.

Russia said the tanker belonged to a private trader and was previously operating under the Guyanese flag. When the US ordered the ship to be taken to an American port, the ship refused and headed towards the Atlantic Ocean. After this, America and NATO countries followed it, in which Britain also helped.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry said that America had already been told that this ship is Russian and is being used for civil work. Russia has demanded that Russian citizens on board the ship be treated fairly and allowed to return home safely.

China also opposed America

China has also criticized this action of America. China’s Foreign Ministry said that it is against unilateral sanctions imposed without the permission of the United Nations. Austria’s former foreign minister and a former US military officer have also called this action against international law.

At the same time, America’s European Military Command said that this tanker was caught on the orders of the US Federal Court. The American Coast Guard was keeping an eye on this ship for a long time. The US claims that the ship deliberately avoided them. To hide the identity, the ship changed its flag, name was changed and the new name was also written on the body of the ship.
