Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has once again targeted Shahrukh Khan. In a recent podcast, Abhijeet said that the biggest reason for the distance between them is Shahrukh’s ‘ego’ and his own ‘self-respect’.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya has spoken openly about his bad relationship with Shahrukh. He also said that Shahrukh has not apologized to him even once till date.

Shahrukh never said sorry During a conversation with Nidhi Vasandani in the podcast, Abhijeet said, “Shahrukh’s ego and my self-respect are the reason for this rift. Shahrukh is younger than me, yet when Farah Khan’s husband abused him, Shahrukh hugged him. Aamir Khan even named his dog Shahrukh, but still they became friends. I am sad that he is such a great person, but he did not say sorry even once.”

‘The next generation will forget Shahrukh’ Comparing superstars to singers, Abhijeet said that the coming generation remembers singers and not actors. Giving an example, he said, today people do not even know who Rajesh Khanna was, even though he was a huge superstar.
People listen to the songs of Kishore Kumar and Rafi, but they do not know that these songs were filmed on Rajesh Khanna. The next generation won’t know that these songs were on Shahrukh, they will just remember the singer.

Controversy started from the film ‘Main Hoon Na’ Talking about the root of the controversy, Abhijeet said that the singers were not given respect in the credits of the film ‘Main Hoon Na’, which hurt him a lot. He described Shahrukh as a ‘commercial person’ and said that he can remove anyone in his way to success and uses people. Abhijeet clarified that he stopped singing for Shahrukh because he was feeling hurt, it was not ego.
