CBSE Holds Webinar On Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2027 Registration, LOC Process

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a live webinar on the registration and List of Candidates (LOC) processes for the 2027 Board Examinations, with a focus on helping schools, students and parents navigate examination-related procedures.

The webinar, titled “Relevance of Registration & LOC”, was held at the CBSE Integrated Office in Dwarka, New Delhi, in continuation of the Board’s circulars on LOC submission for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027 and correction of students’ demographic details.

CBSE officials emphasised the importance of submitting accurate student information during the registration and LOC processes. Schools were advised to verify student details carefully and resolve any discrepancies well in advance to prevent procedural issues closer to the examinations.

CBSE has already started the LOC process for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027. The Board will also soon begin the registration process for students of Classes 9 and 11. These processes cover students studying in nearly 32,000 CBSE-affiliated schools across India and 26 other countries.

A key part of the webinar was a live question-and-answer session, during which senior CBSE officials addressed queries raised by school principals and teachers.

The questions covered several aspects of the examination process, including correction of student details, selection and change of subjects, submission and verification of LOC data, registration of students in Classes 9 and 11, and fee-related provisions.

The Controller of Examinations also made a presentation outlining key aspects of the registration and LOC processes.

CBSE stressed that schools must ensure timely and accurate submission of data, particularly student particulars and subject combinations. The Board also highlighted compliance with fee-related provisions and the appropriate implementation of guidelines for Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

The webinar was livestreamed on CBSE’s official YouTube channel and saw participation from students, parents and other stakeholders. More than 450 school principals and educators from CBSE-affiliated schools attended the programme in person at the CBSE Integrated Office in Dwarka.
