Arrived with sweets on Sohail’s birthday

Salman told that after Sohail’s birth, his maternal grandfather had reached his house with sweets. He regretted that he could not see his grandchildren grow up. According to Salman, Nana regretted this till his last breath.

He also told that whenever there was a fight between Salma and Salim and Salma went to her parents’ house, Nana would not allow her to come into the house. They used to say that Salma can come home any time, but not after a fight.

Salman apologized to his father

In Saturday’s episode, Salman Khan said, “We all regret something sometimes. A few days ago, I was sitting with my father. I told him that if as a son I have ever made a mistake, if I have ever hurt him or I have disappointed him, then please forgive me.”

Salim and Salma’s love story

The love story of Salim Khan and Salma Khan started when their apartments were opposite each other. At that time Salma’s name was Sushila Charak. Both of them married in 1964.

After marriage, Sushila changed her name to Salma. From this marriage, they had four children, Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira.

Salim Khan started being called Shankar after marriage Salim Khan had told that after marriage his name also became Shankar. Actually, Salim Khan was asked a question in Arbaaz Khan’s show as to how he got the name Shankar. Salim Khan had told that Salma’s grandmother was about 92 years old at that time. Once she became very ill, Salim was called to meet his grandmother. Then she was in a coma like state. She was almost gone. Salim met him in the same style. He went and said, ‘Aaj, your Shankar has come.’ He called Aaji twice, but she did not wake up. Everyone was beginning to think that Nani had passed away, but when she said for the third time, ‘Aaj, your Shankar has come’, hearing this they immediately got up and sat down.

Salim had said that after this he became famous by the name Shankar. However, after 6 months, Salma’s grandmother died.

After many years of marriage with Salma, Salim Khan fell in love with actress and dancer Helen. Both of them got married in 1981. At that time Salim was already married to Salma. Salim Khan had told that this decision was initially difficult for the family. However, family relations improved with time.
