Certificate of the film has not been issued
The production house’s statement did not give any reason for the postponement of the film. However, this decision was taken at a time when the certificate to the film was not issued by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on time.
The film was sent for certification on 18 December 2025. After initial investigation, there was talk of giving U/A certificate with some cuts, but the final certificate was not issued. Later the film was sent to the revising committee, which made the process longer.
CBFC had said that a complaint was received regarding the film, in which issues related to religious sentiments and depiction of the army were raised. Due to delay in the certificate, the matter reached Madras High Court. He had demanded immediate relief from the court. However, on Wednesday the court reserved its decision in this matter, due to which the timeline of the film got further complicated.
