Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma started her acting career at the age of just 16 from the South Industry. However, soon she joined Bollywood. Now in a recent interview, Madalsa has told that due to an uncomfortable experience in the South Industry, she left the South Industry and turned to Bollywood.

Madalsa Sharma, in a recent interview to Pinkvilla, said on leaving the South Industry, ‘I was just 16 years old when I started working (in the South Industry) and then had to live in Hyderabad, Chennai, Ramoji Film City etc., so I used to miss home, my parents a lot. So I started thinking that now we should focus a little on Mumbai. Having given so many years to the South, now perhaps the time has come to give time to Mumbai.

‘Also, some experiences were a bit bad for me. I thought maybe I wouldn’t be able to, I wouldn’t be able to take that path. When we talk about things like casting couch, I believe it exists in some form or the other in every industry, be it films, a corporate office or any other field. In every career, sometimes people face such situations. I was disappointed at one point. One conversation made me uncomfortable. Had no experience, but that conversation made me very uncomfortable.

Madalsa further said, ‘I don’t remember exactly what that conversation was, I was only 17 years old at that time. I just remember that I felt very uncomfortable, I got up from there and said to myself, “Now let’s go back to Bombay.” Then I decided that now I will work here, I will do only the work that I really want to do. But at that time a little disappointment had set in and I decided to focus on Bollywood now and stay near my family.

Let us tell you that Madalsa Sharma started her career with the 2009 Telugu film Fitting Master. Apart from this, she has also appeared in Kannada and Tamil films. Apart from this, he has also worked in Hindi films like Samrat & Co, Dil Saala Sanki, Kartoot and The Bengal Files. However, Madalsa got more recognition from the TV show Anupama than films.
