Anti-terrorism expert Rakesh Agarwal was on Wednesday appointed as the new Director General of the country’s anti-terrorism agency National Investigation Agency (NIA). Agarwal, a 1994 batch officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, was also holding the additional charge of the post of DG of NIA. Apart from these, senior IPS Shatrujit Singh Kapoor was appointed Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. Senior IPS Praveen Kumar has been made the new chief of Border Security Force (BSF).
