In Lakshmipur Sadar, Bangladesh, late on Friday night, some miscreants locked a house from outside and poured petrol on it and set it on fire. A 7-year-old girl died after being burnt alive in the fire, while three people were seriously burnt.
This house belongs to Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Bilal Hossain. According to the police, the incident happened around 1 o’clock in the night. Bilal’s 7-year-old daughter Ayesha Akhtar died on the spot due to the fire.
Bilal Hussain and his two other daughters Salma Akhtar (16) and Samia Akhtar (14) were seriously burnt. Bilal is undergoing treatment at Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital, while both the daughters have been sent to Dhaka in critical condition.

Girls are in critical condition, 50% burnt
According to Dr. Arup Pal, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Laxmipur Sadar Hospital, both the girls have suffered burns on about 50-60% of their bodies.
His condition is serious. Due to this, he was referred to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
Bilal’s mother saw the fire in the house
His mother Hajra Begum was the first to see the fire in Bilal’s house. She told that she had fallen asleep after having food. When he woke up at around 1 am, he saw that his son’s house made of tin was burning.
When she ran outside, she found that both the doors of the house were locked from outside. Later Bilal succeeded in breaking the door and getting out. His wife Najma also came out with their four-month-old son and six-year-old son.
He told that all three daughters were sleeping in one room. Two daughters were taken out in critical condition, but the youngest, Ayesha, died in the fire. Hajra Begum alleges that miscreants poured petrol and set the house on fire, although she could not identify anyone.

Station Officer of Lakshmipur Fire Service, Ranjit Kumar Das said that the firemen reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Hindu youth beaten to death, then burnt

In the footage, violent miscreants are seen crushing the young man to death.
Earlier late on Thursday night, 25-year-old Dipu Chandra Das was brutally beaten to death by a mob in Mymensingh city near Dhaka after accusing him of blasphemy.
According to the police, the mob stripped the young man’s body and hung it from a tree and later set it on fire. Police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College for postmortem.
The government issued a statement on Saturday saying that the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested seven suspects in this case, whose age is between 19 and 46 years. These arrests were made by raiding different places.
