The weather has once again started showing different moods across the country. The states of North and Central India have started experiencing intense heat, while there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the hilly areas due to the effect of western disturbance.

The weather patterns are changing rapidly across the country. With the beginning of March, the heat has started increasing in many states of North, West and Central India. The day temperature in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Haryana has reached above normal and in many cities the mercury is being recorded near 35 to 40 degrees.

Hot winds are blowing in Rajasthan due to the effect of anti cyclone formed in the Arabian Sea, due to which the temperature is increasing rapidly. At the same time, in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Haryana, the day temperature has increased by 2 to 3 degrees in the last few days and intense heat has started being felt in many cities.

On the other hand, there are chances of changing weather patterns in the hilly states. Due to the active western disturbance in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in high altitude areas in the coming days.

7-8 March- Possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There are chances of light rain in West Bengal, Sikkim and Odisha.
