After the arrest of Bahubali, Patna DM Dr. Thyagarajan and SSP Karthikeya Sharma held a press conference. DM said, the district administration and police have taken the incident that took place in Mokama assembly constituency very seriously. We have taken several actions in the matter. The Model Code of Conduct is a strong pillar of the entire election process. As directed by the Election Commission, we are committed to ensuring free and fair elections.
If any anti-social element tries to go against the law or the model code of conduct, strict action will be taken. We have given instructions to deposit 100% weapons. All legal weapons will be deposited soon.
Instructions have been given to create more than 50 checking points in every assembly constituency. CAPF will also investigate. Maximum seizures have been made from Patna. Adequate CAPF personnel have been deployed. They are working in coordination with the police and magistrate. Raids are being conducted to confiscate illegal weapons.

Patna SSP Karthikeya Sharma said, on October 30, there was a clash between groups of two candidates. Stone pelting took place, due to which many people were injured. A body was recovered after the incident. The deceased, 75-year-old Dularchand Yadav, was a resident of the same village where the clash took place.
Both parties registered a case and the police started investigating the matter. Based on the evidence, eyewitness statements and postmortem report of the deceased, it appears that the Model Code of Conduct was violated and this is a serious matter.
It was found that all this happened in the presence of candidate Anant Singh, who is also the main accused in the case. Anant Singh has been arrested. His associates Manikant Thakur and Ranjit Ram have also been arrested along with him.
CID has also investigated this matter. There was an incident of fighting between the two parties. Yesterday when it was being taken for postmortem. A separate case has been registered in this also.
SDM, SP removed late Saturday evening
Earlier on Saturday late evening, the Election Commission took action in the Mokama murder case. Barh SDM Chandan Kumar, Rural SP Vikram Sihag and Barh SDPO-1 Rakesh Kumar were removed. 2022 batch IAS officer Ashish Kumar was sent in place of SDM.
Meanwhile, in place of SDPO-1 Rakesh Kumar, the responsibility has been given to CID DSP Anand Kumar Singh. Along with this, the Election Commission has suspended SDPO-2 Abhishek Singh of Barh. In his place, DSP Ayush Srivastava posted in ATS has been given the responsibility.

According to the postmortem report, deep wounds and marks of blood clotting were found at many places on the body. The lungs were found burst, causing excessive internal bleeding. Several chest ribs were found broken.
Marks of injuries were found especially near the spinal cord (vertebra) on the right side. Deep wounds and injuries were found on the head, knees, ankles and back. Along with this, there is mention of firearm (gunshot) injury near the right leg, i.e. there are marks of bullet injury.
Abrasions and lacerated wounds were found at many places. Doctors have written that the cause of death was cardio-pulmonary failure with blunt injury to chest and head, that is, due to forceful injuries to the chest and head and burst lungs, the heart and respiratory system stopped working.
Dularchand Yadav died due to lung rupture and multiple rib fractures. These injuries were so severe that internal bleeding occurred, resulting in death. Dularchand Yadav received a strong blow or heavy pressure on his chest, due to which his ribs were broken and his lungs were seriously injured.
4 FIRs in Dularchand murder case
Patna SSP Karthikeya Sharma said that so far 4 FIRs have been registered in this case. So far many people have been arrested and many people are being detained and interrogated.
The situation is still normal at the spot. Police force has been deployed. At present the culprits are being identified on the basis of video footage.
Let us tell you that the first case was registered by Dularchand’s grandson Neeraj Kumar in Bhadaur police station. The second case has been filed by Anant’s supporter Jitendra Kumar and the third case has been filed by the police on his statement.
Grandson said in FIR – Anant Singh fired the bullet
Dularchand’s grandson Neeraj made serious allegations against Anant Singh and his supporters in his FIR. In the FIR, Neeraj said, ‘Anant Singh and his supporters abused my grandfather. Then grandfather was pulled out of the car.
Anant Singh took out a pistol from his waist and fired with the intention of killing, the bullet hit the sole of my grandfather’s left foot. And he fell.
Chhotan Singh hit Dada with an iron rod on his legs, back and head to kill him, then trampled him with the Thar 2-3 times, due to which Dada was crushed.
They shook grandfather to see whether he was dead or not, then ran away. Grandfather died on the way to the hospital.
