TV actor and host Karan Wahi will once again be seen in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. Karan has earlier been a part of Season 8 and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India’. Now he will be seen in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’ for the third time. In a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Karan told that this show is not just a reality show but a life-changing experience. Question: Going to ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ for the third time. How much excitement is there about the show? Answer: Talking about the show, the old show was also very scary. Now we don’t even know how scary the new show will be because they haven’t told much, but I consider myself very lucky that I am getting a chance to do this show for the third time. The more scared you are, the more fun you will have. Now we are just waiting for that moment when we will go to Cape Town and the same journey will start again with Rohit sir. Question: When the offer for the show came for the third time, what was your first reaction? Answer: My first reaction was a straight ‘yes’ because this show is not just a show, it is an experience. Here your competitors also cheer you. If you win, the other person will lose, but they will still cheer for you as much as they do for themselves. There is no other show like this in today’s time. Here you get a chance to do things which we never do in our everyday life. We can stay at home, put away our phones, not watch TV, dance or sing, but in real life we don’t sit among rats, hang from a 100-storey building or take such dangerous jumps. If you get a chance to do all this again, you definitely feel scared. Question: What was your biggest fear while doing the show for the first and second time? Answer: For the first time, I was afraid of many things, but the biggest phobia was of animals, especially dogs. After ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, that fear completely vanished and today I have my own dog in my house. There was a fear of heights the second time too and to be honest, it still exists, but this show teaches you what ‘mind over matter’ is. Question: Does fear ever go away completely? Answer: No. This show always brings a new scare to you. If the fear of dogs is over, now they will bring a lion or a cheetah, but this is the beauty of this show that you test yourself in a new way every time. Question: What was your biggest fear while starting your career in real life? Answer: If we look at fear in general sense, then fear is still there. There is fear of small things. Earlier I was afraid of my parents, I was afraid of studies, but if I talk about work, the world was very different 20-22 years ago. At that time a person is very fearless. You don’t think much about the world. Just have to earn name. It seems that he can do everything, he can do anything. At that time perhaps there was less fear, I was a little more fearless. Now I wouldn’t call it fear, but I think about things more now. This happens with every person. Earlier, the only thought was that work is coming, do anything but work. Now the only hope remains that the love that people have given me for so many years, should continue to be received in future too. I have worked for 20-22 years, so if I can work for the next 20-22 years with the same heart and continue to get the same love and respect, then nothing would be bigger than that. Question: How much discipline do you follow regarding your fitness and lifestyle? How is your fitness routine? Answer: I think it is an embedded discipline. Fitness is not only important for actors, but it is important to live a good life. Good food, workouts, a clean lifestyle, and maybe even a little good genetics. This is all because of the parents. Question: How do you maintain mental peace and mental fitness? Answer: Earlier I used to look for a lot of external validation. Who thinks what, who wrote what on social media. But now I have left all this. Now I just think about what I think about myself. How well my actions match my words. That’s what gives me peace. Question: You have also shown a lot of inclination towards spirituality? Answer: Spirituality is not a very big or different thing. I was spiritual before too, just now I am more aligned with myself. As you grow up, your wants change and you start understanding yourself more. Spirituality to me simply means being honest with myself. Question: How do you see the contestants this time? Answer: This show has always been a huge support system for me. Rithvik Dhanjani is a very good friend of mine and his energy is such that you can never be sad around him. We have a lot of fun. I hope that this time also we reach the finale together and then the competition takes place there. Question: What was the biggest risk you took in life? Answer: Coming to Mumbai. Question: Which rumor did you find to be the most dangerous? Answer: That I have left work after becoming spiritual. Question: If you have to stay somewhere with a contestant without a phone, then who will it be? Answer: Ritwik and he will not let anyone else do the same. Question: What would you like to say to the fans in the end? Answer: I just want to say that definitely watch ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’. You have given us so much love over the years, just keep the same love. And to the new audience, who may not have seen our work, I would like to tell them to watch the show, laugh with us, laugh at us too. Rohit is sir, he will always take care. To be honest, when the name of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ comes, the first thing that comes to mind is Rohit Shetty’s face.
