He also talked about stopping the trade agreement, until the dispute between the two countries is resolved. Trump claimed that the two countries retreated only five hours after his talks. However, India has always dismissed Trump’s conversation and arbitration claims.

After this, America imposed 25% extra tariff on India. Which has come into force from today. Earlier, Trump has imposed 25% tariffs on India in July, now the total tariff on India has increased to 50%.

Claimed to drop 7 jets worth $ 150 million

Trump said, ‘I talked to Modi, who is a great person. I asked what is happening between India and Pakistan. There was a lot of hate between the two. This dispute has been going on for a long time. ‘

He said, ‘The matter was resolved. Now maybe it starts again, I don’t know. But if this happens, I will stop it again. We cannot allow such things to happen. ‘

Trump also claimed that several jets were dropped under this stress. He said, ‘This is not good. 15 million dollars of aircraft were dropped, perhaps seven or more, the real number was never stated. However, he did not give any evidence or official source for this.

Comparison of India-Pakistan dispute with Russia-Ukraine war

Comparing Russia-Ukraine war, Trump said that the India-Pakistan dispute could also turn into a global crisis. He said, “Just as the war of Russia and Ukraine could pull the world into the world war, the dispute between India and Pakistan could turn into a nuclear war.”

Trump has already made such claims that his arbitration stopped a major war between India and Pakistan. However, India has repeatedly denied the mediation of a third party.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said that the ceasefire was the result of India’s strategic decisions and there was no external pressure. PM Modi also clearly stated in Parliament last month that no third party was arbitrariness. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Home Minister Amit Shah have also reiterated the same thing.

Extra 25% tariff applied to India from today

At the same time, Trump has imposed 25% additional tariff on India, which has come into force from 27 August i.e. today. The US had told the reason behind this tariff to buy Russian oil.

Earlier, Trump has imposed 25% tariffs on India in July, from now on import of Indian goods, 50% tariff will have to be given in the US.

JD Vance said- Strategy to stop tariff war

Trump said that the US earned the trillion dollar with tariff and also stopped the war with this strategy. Prior to Trump, US Vice President JD Vance said that the secondary tariffs imposed on India are also part of the same strategy of Washington.

Talking to the NBC News program ‘Meat the Press’, Vance said that the Trump administration is making it difficult for Russia to earn profit from its oil economy through other measures, including putting tariffs on India.

Fiji PM said- Modi capable of facing challenges

Following the decision to impose 50% tariff on Indian goods, Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamada Rabuka said on Tuesday that PM Modi has the strength to face such challenges.

Rabuka said, “After the recent announcement of America’s tariff, I told PM Modi that no one is happy with you, but you are very strong to face these problems”

Rabuka said this after the ‘Ocean of Peace’ lecture of the Indian World Affairs Council in New Delhi. Sitivaini visited India on a four -day visit on Sunday.
