In February this year, Trump had released an AI video showing how Gaza would look after becoming a smart city.
America has presented a huge plan to rebuild Gaza which has been devastated by war. Under this plan, Gaza will be converted into a modern smart city at a cost of about ₹9.3 lakh crore ($112 billion).
Out of this, the US government will provide assistance of about ₹5 lakh crore ($60 billion). In this project, it has been said to build facilities like luxury resort, beach hotel and high-speed train.
This plan has been prepared by US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and US Special Representative Steve Witkoff. It has been named ‘Project Sunrise’.
Its aim is not only to bring Gaza out of the debris, but also to make it a modern, technology-driven and international city. This project is being shown to the investor countries through a 32 slide PowerPoint presentation.

Gaza will be made a global tourist destination
According to the planning, luxury beach resorts, five star hotels, marinas and entertainment zones will be built on the Mediterranean coast of Gaza so that it can be made a global tourist destination.
High-speed train network, wide and modern roads and multi-modal transport system will be developed for travel within the city. An AI-powered smart power grid will be installed in Gaza, which is facing electricity problems, which will use solar and other renewable energy.
Along with this, there is talk of making Gaza an AI based smart city, where there will be digital governance, e-governance system, data platform and a chief digital office.
Free trade zones, international business districts, technology hubs, innovation labs and startup centers will also be built to increase trade and employment, so that Gaza can be made a local economic hub.
