A very shocking case has come to light from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, where a young woman brutally murdered her own lover in the name of ‘Western style proposal’. This incident is being reported in Anjananagar area of Bayadarahalli police station area at around 2 pm on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Kiran, who had reached his girlfriend Prema’s house. According to the police, no one else was present in the house. During this time, the girl allegedly told Kiran that she would propose him in a ‘foreign style’. After this he tied his hands and legs with a rope and blindfolded him.
When Kiran asked about the bond, the girl called it ‘part of the proposal’. Police suspect that there was a physical relationship between the two before the incident. After this, the girl poured the previously prepared kerosene oil on Kiran and set her on fire, resulting in her painful death on the spot.

Police investigation has revealed that both the accused girl and the deceased worked in a telecom company and the friendship between them later turned into a love affair. According to initial investigation, the girl suspected that Kiran had been ignoring her in recent times, due to which she got angry and committed this horrific incident.
Not only this, the police also suspect that the accused has made a video recording of the entire incident in his mobile phone. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. In this case, the girl is being detained and interrogated.
In this case, North-West Zone DCP DL Nagesh said that this is clearly a case of murder and all aspects are being thoroughly investigated. Police have registered the case and further action is underway.
