Mikey was being looked after by Manjari and other residents of her society for the last seven years. Manjari shared an emotional video on social media and told that there was a long-haired street dog named Mikey, who was abandoned by his family. He was living in the society since 2019-20. After his sudden disappearance some time ago, residents started searching for him. He told that posters were put up to find Mikey, security guards and staff were interrogated, but no trace of him could be found. Manjari claimed – Mikey was attacked According to Manjari, a man later allegedly confessed that Mikey was attacked when he was sleeping near the basement area of the building. The actress alleged that she was hit on the head with a big stick or iron rod, after which she was dragged near the stairs and beaten. He also claimed that the injured dog was later put in a sack and thrown into the bay area behind the building. Manjari said that at present his body is being searched. Manjari sought justice for Mikey: Being emotional in the video, Manjari raised questions on the safety of street animals and demanded justice in this matter. He said that Mikey was a dog of very calm nature and the people of the society used to take care of him. He would take her home, bathe her, groom her and comb her hair.
