He wrote, I am not talking about one or two conversations, but almost every conversation was in Mandarin. More than 10 people spoke in Mandarin and the two non-Chinese employees couldn’t understand anything. Comparing his experience with that of Chinese company Huawei, Bernier said that if any other language was used so much there, the people of China would have been angry.
