Now a big revelation has come to light in the case of death of 31 year old Twisha Sharma, resident of Noida. WhatsApp chats of Twisha, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws’ house in Katara Hills, Bhopal on May 12, have come to light, bringing a new twist to the case. In these chats, Twisha had informed her mother about the mental and physical harassment allegedly being done by her husband Samarth Singh and his family.
According to these messages, exclusively accessed by India Today, Twisha had appealed to her mother for help several times on May 7. He had written, ‘Life is hell here, take me home’. ‘I am very upset… these people are very bad. They doubt me. Samarth asks whose child I am going to be the mother of.
Twisha had told her mother, ‘Come here and take me away from here… these people will not let me live.’ Twisha had also alleged emotional torture inside the house. He had said, ‘These people are very cruel. Samarth doesn’t even talk to me properly.
Twisha was a resident of Noida
Twisha was originally from Noida. Their marriage will be in December 2025 Bhopal She had an affair with lawyer Samarth Singh, after which she went to Bhopal. On May 12, she was found hanging in her house. However, his family has rejected the suicide theory and alleged murder. The family has raised questions on the police investigation and has demanded a fresh post-mortem at AIIMS, Delhi.
Twisha was two months pregnant
Another important revelation in the case has come from Twisha’s last Instagram chat. Before her death, in a conversation with her friend Meenakshi, Twisha had written, ‘I am trapped… just don’t get trapped. Can’t talk much, will call when the right time comes. Meenakshi had replied, ‘I am worried for you, I am with you.’ But that call never came. Twisha was found dead the next day. At that time she was about two months pregnant.
Mother-in-law accused of being a drug addict
Responding to the claims of the accused family, Twisha’s mother said, ‘Our daughter is no more, so can you say anything?’ Meanwhile, mother-in-law Giribala Singh has alleged that Twisha was a drug addict and had the problem of mood swings.
Husband accused of taking drugs
Twisha’s cousin Ashish Sharma claimed that the family had already received information about drug addiction allegations against Samarth Singh. He said that Twisha had told that during her pregnancy she was asked, ‘Whose child is this?’ He also told his father, ‘He takes drugs.’
Regarding this matter, Twisha’s family has demonstrated outside the residence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and demanded a court-monitored investigation. At present a special investigation team is investigating the case. Samarth Singh and his mother Giribala Singh are retired judges, legal action is ongoing against them. The family alleges that because of being influential, efforts are being made to influence the investigation.
The family says that the chats and last messages that have surfaced clearly show that Twisha was asking for help and wanted to leave Bhopal, but her cry remained unheard.
