The Hyderabad Police has busted a vicious gang involved in the kidnapping and smuggling of innocent children. This gang had made dozens of children their victims in the last five years. On Monday, the police took action and arrested four gang members. Six children have been safely rescued from his clutches. All the accused are being questioned in police custody.
The matter was revealed when on August 26 Hyderabad A woman living in K Lingampalli area lodged a complaint about the disappearance of her four -year -old son. She went to the hospital. Meanwhile, the son disappeared from the hut. After registering the case on the basis of the woman’s complaint, the SIT was formed for investigation. Sensational revelations were revealed during the police investigation.
Police came to know that a large gang is active behind this kidnapping. He has been targeting young children around railway stations and deserted places for a long time. The main accused was arrested by the police, who used to run an Ayurvedic store. In the police interrogation, he revealed the entire network. He told that children were sold after kidnapping.
After kidnapping the children, he confessed to selling childless couples with millions of rupees. Police investigation also revealed that some parents themselves sold their newborns for the greed of money through this gang. It also included three days and one day babies. The police have so far recovered six children between the ages of one to five years.
All the children have been preserved under the supervision of the District Child Protection Officer. Along with the seizure, the police has also seized about five lakh rupees cash from the accused. The Sibrabad Police Commissionerate has termed this revelation as a big success. Officials say that further investigation is going on to reach the entire root of this racket and save other potential victims.
